In the warm summer days around mid July, just before harvest, is most probably the best moment in Valensole plateau, Provence (France), for capturing the beautiful blue lavender in bloom.

Every day hundreds of photographers from all around the world gather in front the most famous trees of the plateau, beside to Lavandes Angelvin, trying to capture the magic seconds when colours of lavender flowers change from magenta to purple during the sunset.​​​​​​​
